We know that behind every great young player is a supportive parent — and we’re here for both of you. Whether you're helping your child take their first steps, or learning alongside them, we’ll guide you with simple lessons, modern methods, and a community that cheers you on.

Before chess, there was football. And after that — softball.

Colin grew up a competitive athlete, proudly representing his school’s softball team and clinching the coveted East Zone 2nd.

Later, he coached kids aged 4 to 11 on the football field, always focusing on building strong fundamentals, teamwork, and self-belief.

But it was when his own child picked up chess that everything shifted. For the past 10 years, Colin has been deeply immersed in the game — learning, guiding, and coaching from the sidelines as a chess dad.

Now, he’s made the bold decision to turn that personal journey into a greater mission.Coach Colin believes in preparing kids not just to play the game, but to think like players — with strategy, resilience, and a spark of healthy competitiveness.

To him, chess is a sport, and chess players should be trained, supported, and celebrated like true sportspeople. That’s the energy he brings to every lesson.

Felicia wears many hats — coach parent, experienced manager, and the steady hand behind the scenes.

In her younger days, she led with heart and hustle, taking on leadership roles that shaped her sharp eye for detail and her knack for keeping things (and people!) moving in the right direction.

Today, she brings that same energy to Hello! Chess, helping fellow parents navigate the journey — whether it’s finding the right class, understanding the schedule, or just needing a friendly voice who gets it. As our ever-ready frontline, Felicia is the one who makes sure every question gets answered, and every student feels seen.
